Crash can jump again in mid-air, as often as you like. It changes the momentum of a normal jump.
Your lives are kept at 99. Losing a life drops the count by one until the counter leaves the screen, then it is back at 99.
Your Wumpa Fruit are kept at 99, so every fruit you pick up gives an extra life.
You always have one Aku Aku mask, so a hit takes the mask instead of a life. While it is on, three masks (invulnerability) cannot be reached.
