Every cheat connects on its own the first time you use it, once you are in the game: it checks that this is the Steam 1.5.15.1 R31 Beta build, a local solo session without BattlEye, and your character. If the game changes under the cheats (a respawn, a new world) they pause; press this to check again and turn the cheats that were on back on.
