General experience is set to 9,999,999 when the game reads it, so it can be spent freely on abilities.
Strength experience gained is multiplied by 100.
Combat 1
Any character other than the hero whose health changes is set to 0 health, so enemies die in one hit. Once the hero's health has been read, it applies to everyone else, friendly characters included.
