Effects that drain a power over time, such as the plague, stop draining it (the effect may still show). Turn it on once the decay has started.
Reign 1
With this on, the current ruler's years in power and the calendar year show here once the game has drawn them, and a new value is written straight into them. The calendar year may only show after a death and resets when a new reign starts.
