Health is set to 999 where the game checks it. The table has five options that hook different places where health is read: turn on another if one does not keep you alive.

Whenever the game changes a resource count (bombs, keys, gold spent in a shop), the count is set to the chosen amount instead. 99 is the bomb and key cap; 999,999 also keeps gold for shop purchases.
Where the game checks your gold or thorium, it is set to the chosen amount: 999,999 for gold, 999 for thorium (its cap is 1,000).
